Arctic Inspiration Prize Awards Ceremony

Wednesday, February 17, 2021

We would like to inform everyone that The Arctic Inspiration Prize Awards Ceremony will be taking place this Friday, February 19, 2021. Like previous years, the awards ceremony promises an incredible pan-northern cultural showcase, celebrating the AIP finalists, announcing the new laureates, and stunning performances from northern artists. Unlike previous years, this awards ceremony will be virtual and broadcast on APTN (TV and online) from coast to coast to coast.

The virtual awards ceremony on APTN provides a unique – and amazing – opportunity for people across the country to join this northern celebration. To do this, though, we need your help: please share this message and attached invitation with people in your network so they can join and experience the incredible moments of joy, pride, excellence and talent that will be showcased as part of this ceremony. The best “ambassadors” of the AIP are the laureates – and we are hoping you can help to spread the word about this year’s virtual ceremony. It has only been a couple of years since some of our youth brought home the $100,000 prize to Cambridge Bay.  Let's help support the cause and tune in on Friday.
